    Thank you for your information Straker. Would there be any other differences between a early 6000 DI with the meter in the housing, and a latter version 6000 DI with the meter in the handle, or are they basically the same machine with different meter locations?

    I believe thats what digdog was asking. Seems like there are several dealers as I recall, and others that want full payment. I imagine the ones that require no payment, have a looooooooong list of preorders.

    Me too. I believe that the 2D screen will also aid in making a dig or no decision, but will probably rely mostly on audio tones. Minelab always has had great audio tones, and the Manticore seems to have taken that one step further!
