    Got my CZ3D today.

I bought a excellent shape CZ3D from Dave and it arrived today. Serial #1021 series. Did some bench testing with the settings described on the forums ( Disc 0, GB 10, Sen 5, Enhanced Mode, Vol, 10). Was hitting a clad dime at 10 3/4 to 11 1/4 inches clearly so it passes the depth test. I used...

    Meteorite Men on Science Channel

I was watching the Science Channel today and caught the commercial for the upcoming season of Meteorite Men and I think one of the guys had an F75 LTD in his hand. I thought the unit was camo colored I it looked like the F75 coil. I don't have one so I can't be sure. The other guy had a large...

Not target wise since I missed the good hunting by 12 hours, but to see all the hunters out there today at the beach and making new friends. Met Joe and Bill from Sussex County. Joe told me last night was great and he picked up lots of silver, but starting later last night about 3-4 foot of...

My friends and I had a 'REALE' good Summer ! :wiggle:

During the months of July and August, my friends and I hit a spot on a NJ beach that gave up these. Each pic is from a different day. Along with over 130 of them, we found 2 gold coins ( British Guinea coins dated mid 1700's which I will try to get a better picture of at some point) along with...

    8 Reale close ups

Well, now that I READ my camera manual, I figured out that is DOES have a macro feature, so I just took a pic, front and back, of another 8 Reale found in July ( much better shape). Pics of ALL the 8 Reales found over the Summer will follow shortly. Wish I knew how to use that feature back in...

    Hit 2 NJ beaches yesterday

Hit 2 NJ beaches yesterday. Lots of clad, usual junk and these 3 notables. Surf was pounding, some wind and rain, and a number of roadways were flooded ( which made the trip very interesting). My brother found an 8 Reale also, his in very good shape. I have to get a better camera. Mine is 7...

    New Infinium question

In reading Steve H's post about revisting the Infinium and how Garrett has improved the unit and made it more stable, when purchasing a new one, how is one guaranteed that the new unit is an improved one, or part of older stock where you will have to send it back to Garrett for mods ? I am...

Question for all the Infinium users out there. When hunting salt water beaches, is the 8 inch mono coil the best for this purpose ? Thanks ! John

    Way to go Admin !

Thanks Freddie. Just read your post that you deleted it. I agree 1000 percent with you about first timers and their posts. Unbiased opinions are one thing, but tirades and profanities are uncalled for.

    Way to go Admin !

Larry, I got on right after that guy posted the first one under that name and it totally took me back. Unfortunatey there is probably no check when first registering that a profane name or some deriviative is used. Guess it keeps you on your toes. I did report it though, just for safe measure.

    Way to go Admin !

Got that entire garbage thread outta there !!! Bad enough I had to read that idiots new forum name, but good thing my 10 year old son, who reads the forum with me sometimes to look at the finds, didn't see that name. That was just sad. There are much better ways to voice an opinion then that...

    New CZ rig

Thanks to PyrorCreekJoe, I now have my CZ6a mounted on a straight shaft, under the cuff. Joe sent me the upper rod assembly of a CZ, and I cut the rod on both sides of the piece the CZ slides onto. I then attached it to a Babbs straight shaft and with the 10.5 inch coil, it's balanced perfect...
