    a lot of digging

    This stuff is from an old park - a lot of not so old coins plus 1 1919 wheat. There is a tool in there with an offset shank, it seems to be pretty old but i have no clue what it's for. That small hook near the coins is interesting it looks old but i just don't know how to identify these things...

So far out of this site i have dug 15 wheat pennies 1910 to 1937, a bunch of clad coins and zincs, some costume jewelry and no silver. Not to mention a couple pounds of iron.     Here is todays hunt. The owner came by today while i was hunting just as i was pulling out one of the old wheats. He was pretty impressed. He gave me another acre to hunt in town. That permission was my biggest find today!

    Thank you for looking into it. Thats kinda my opinion as well. I went to meteorite and slag pics on the web and found nothing that resembles it. It gave me a pretty good signal on my 800. I think i'll hang on to it just for the heck of it. Thanks again for responding!
