    Afternoon hunt today

South Carolina, we can only hunt beaches in state parks.Guess they like to let relics to rot in the ground, Francis Marion is a federal park here with 1/4 million acres with no hunting. They harvest the pine timber and leave large depressions in the ground but don’t get caught with a scoop...

    Afternoon hunt today

I know what you mean, my first thought it was stainless steel and put it in my pocket. I could see no stamp but when I got home it had a worn stamp 14K, gout out my electronic tester and was gold. Sweet surprise this time of year with few people on beach.

Had some free time today and went on a hunt at the beach in our state park. Really wouldn’t expecting to find much and did I get a surprise. I hit on my 14 K ring that weighed 6.78 grams. What

It was a gold coin for a nano second….

That would have made any heart skip a beat, just not fair. I never have found a gold coin, but I’ll keep looking. Hope one comes your way soon! Still a good find.

    Wedding band

Guys hunt by numbers on their detectors and don’t realize gold can come in at any number. I am using a manicure now and 32 can be a bottle cap or pull tab, also can be a 14K wedding band. LOL

    Wedding band

Tough finding gold this late in the year, just getting summer leftovers that people missed. Good thing is few people out hunting now.

    Acta Non Verba

Next to gold it’s my favorite. Getting harder to find with all the titanium and tungsten rings.

    Acta Non Verba

Acta Non Verba is Latin for Deeds not Words, had to look it up. Found this beauty at state park beach. It is silver with 24” silver chain. Hard to hunt now as tourist season is over. Just bought a Manicore by Minelab and getting use to it. The front means temperance (wine from pitcher)...

    Silver is always good.

    One more gold ring

Tungsten and titanium have hurt the silver and gold finds. They pay a bunch for good ones but almost worthless on resale. They are a hardened metal and cannot be resized.

Strangest thing I've ever found MDing.

    One more gold ring

It’s late in the season but I found a nice 14K wedding band at the waters edge. This has been a slow year at the beach but I have found some great finds. There has been a lot of people on the beach but not nearly the lost jewelry finds. I still like to hunt as you never know your next find. I...
