    My thoughts on Detectors lately

I usually do, several times i have been out in a raincoat

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

Again i can't even begin to count the number of variables of why or how something could be missed.

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

I can say for sure groundhogs do pull up targets lol. Found some nails and old lead that one retrieved pushing dirt out of a hole once a long time ago. Thats what the hobby is about. I can say this as long as its making you happy or doing what you want it to do, you've got the right detector...

Frost heave, or deep plowing maybe if in a field?

It will always be that way, no matter how many people or machines hit it I too believe this occurs

Etrac old school or is it 🤔

I was excited when nokta unveiled the invenio, i think im spelling that right. Then i saw the price tag and watched some footage on it, and i wasn't as impressed, but still it looks neato and has its nitch. Thought we were making a huge step there

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

In regards to the earlier post, i sure hope they don't release anything like that anytime soon. I like going to my spots and always being able to find at least something good, hate to see the day where it only takes a pass or two on the ground to remove everything. What about future generations...

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

Just to go off on another topic for a minute, lets pretend that there is a new machine coming out in the next year that is unlike anything anybody has ever used. It finds stuff that you wouldn't believe, quarters at 12 inches like they are 2 inches down with a 9 inch coil, gold rings with a...

    Battery

I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but the chances are small. Don't leave a rechargeable detector in a hot car, and don't be banging the control box to hammer nails. As long as you keep away from that and use the appropriate charger you should be just fine

    Any Air Gunners?!

Benjamin marauder .22, love that thing

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

I can sort of get behind this, but then again if it improves enough to vastly improve things it would probably be worth it. I know plenty of people loved and still love the deus, and now that its waterproof and multi-frequency, i would consider the deus 2 enough of an improvement to move on to...

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

when the simplex came out, i was actually suprised at what you get for $250. Its a hit out of the ballpark when you compare the price and features to other mid range machines. If I get someone serious about detecting that wants to join me, i usually hand them the simplex and say...i know its a...

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

I can't agree with you more. I've just sit back so much the past few years and watched how marketing is, and things being rebranded, and how so many people and companies are pushing brands and detectors. With the release of the deus 2 it has just blown up. I do like it, may even purchase one...

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

I too have wondered the same thing, but thought about how many variables there were. I do wish they would improve on it though. I liked the minelab etrac with the scale they had and the number system, but i found it to be pretty unreliable at depths for me and i pretty much continued with my dig...

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

I witnessed this myself just about every time i purchased a new machine. Sure i was able to squeak out a few things here and there on my hunting grounds, but it's not like i was pulling dozens of things i had previously missed. I feel there are so so many variables with metal objects, think of...

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

If your comparing detectors from the 70s, 80s, and the 90s to detectors released the past couple years I highly agree with you, Leaps and bounds of advancement. Yes there have been some major advancements every so often from the 2000s up till today. I see no problem buying any detector out...

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

I do like some of the newer machines, mainly the ORX. I've had a couple of them over the years just because they are so lightweight compared to everything else. I don't condone any new or old detector, and have favorites from both ages, but the ergonomic improvements are nice. Something that...

I see this everywhere in todays age, and i just can't help but laugh at the way the world revolves these days

To each their own....i agree. There are so many different ways to enjoy detecting, and different hunting styles, grounds

I'm all for technology, but for technologies sake is a whole other opinion. You assume i'm older i suppose, but im 32. I grew up in a wave of exploding tech and gadgets., so no i don't have a flip phone, but i also don't have the latest greatest iphone or android....to many people can't look up...
