    MXT Tracker E-Series question

I have a Tracker E-Series detector I purchased new around 2005 or earlier. There aren't any manuals on the White's web site for this specific detector. Which MXT detector would have the closest manual for it? Also, anyone out there with this kind of detector find any fine gold chain with it...

    WS4 headphones vs. WS5

Hi all, I'm used to complete, over the ear headphones like Gray Ghosts. I'm curious if some of you have tried both the WS4 and WS5 and which one you like better. I like the WS4 when it's hot outside as they allow the ears to breathe. Do the WS5's get hot in the Summer? Do you hear the faint...

Anyone know how to detect gold chains with Deus?

I am curious if anyone has found any fine gold chains with their Deus and if so, what your program was, coil etc.?

Who here detects with the XY screen?

I like detecting with the XY screen. It seems to give me a lot more information on targets rather than just the horseshoe showing Fer/Con. However, since I'm so new to the Deus, I'm open to what you think which graph gives better information and why to use one over the other. In the XY screen I...

Found with first outing with Deus

First hunt with the Deus. Was hoping to at least find a few $20.00 gold coins. Never found a Boy Scout scarf thingy. Only found one wheat. All in all it was a nice, peaceful morning detecting.

How do you know when search coil is fully charged?

I just received my Deus this afternoon and am charging everything. I don't see in the instructions any mention of how to tell when the search coil is fully charged.

Best portable battery charger for in the field detecting?

I see on Amazon there are a lot of different portable USB battery power packs to charge devices. Is the Anker PowerCore 2600 Portable Charger pretty good for the Deus? Or do you know of a better or cheaper brand?

Testing out the NEL 5x10 tonight in test garden

Okay, I just don't know what on earth to make of this. I have many different coils for my Explorer SE Pro. I have a 9 inch deep penny in my coin garden buried a few months ago. After work, I put on the 5x10 Nel sharpshooter coil and went over that 9" penny and was simply amazed. Not only was it...

Is there an XP Deus classroom here on Findmall or at least a place here where lots of information is stored?

Will Minelab put out a detector like the CTX 3030 to replace the E-trac?

I'm just curious if anyone thinks Minelab will put out a land detector that uses the technology of the CTX 3030 that would be for land detecting like the E-trac?

    Why hunt in Conductive?

I always hunt in Ferrous so the iron sound low and conductive targets sound higher. I usually hunt in All Metal. It seems the SE Pro resets much faster going from an iron hit to a conductive hit in A.M. Yesterday I tried hunting in Conductive and it drove me batty with iron sounding high...

    Gold chains on Explorer?

Does anyone know where gold chains come in on the Explorer in All Metal?

Is it a coin or a token?

I found this many years ago with my Explorer XS. I wonder if someone here knows if it is a coin or token? It is slightly larger than a Lincoln penny but thinner.

How many of you started off with a Relco?

I know this is going to date me but my first metal detector was a Relco. Mine had the wooden box to hold everything and two coils. But I didn't look like the guys in the picture. I may have had bell bottom pants. LOL

WTB 10" COIL FOR FISHER COIN STRIKE

I'm still looking to buy the 10" coil for the Fisher CoinStrike. Thanks. If you know anyone who has one for sale, could you please let me know?

    Is this an iron rock?

Found this in a park with my metal detector. On my Minelab Explorer it goes high upper left in the iron area. Just curious what it is?

Was Safari supposed to be a step up from the SE Pro?

It seems like the Safari is an SE Pro from the specs. I guess it was brough out to replace the SE series? or maybe the E-trac was to replace the SE series? Either way, for those of you who have used an SE and a Safari, are the two similar in depth and working in iron trash?

CZ3D difference between penny, dime, quarter, etc.?

Excuse my ignorance but does the CZ3d tell you the difference between a zink, copper, flying eagle penny, dime, quarter, half and silver dollar?

Detected a park with DV here from the board

The three quarters were in the same hole with the bent nail. The silver dime was in iron trash too. Could only hit it one way. It was really nice to meet up with DV. Man, my wrists are sore from digging deep targets in tough soil. Can't believe how deep some of those memorials were. Not to...

I Googled this badge but can't find anything about it. On the back it just says Good Luck. Anyone know anything about it? Thanks.
