    I did what you said to do during lunch today. I used the Ground Filter of 5.0Hz after lowering the Gain. I tested this on a 5" deep quarter.     Yea, I've been disappointed on some detectors I have. I was holding my breath hoping the V3i would hit on the coins. I was running at 2.5kHz with the stock 10" coil. I was really impressed. I didn't even have to put boost on.

    I'm kind of lost on the chart. Under Threshold, what does "20, 40, 60, 80,85, 90," represent? I'm not sure what the numbers under the 20,40, 60 etc. represent either.
