    Last coin of 2011 was my first SLQ

    Found these a week or so ago . First time I've hunted this over grown picnic area. My grandparents used to go there in the 50's. You'd never guess by the way it looks today. My father showed me . He fishes for Walleye's while I hunt for the shine.

    Native Indian / Early American ???

    The item was found in New York on a Island in the Hudson River. I've found a lot of artifacts there , its a know spot and once dug by NYS. This past spring while I was metal detecting a came across this (ring ?) . I dug the target at 6 inches I thought it was going to be Indian Head penny it...

    Colonial Cellar site

    I haven't found another item like this . I dug it a foot or two away from the shoe buckle. Found the other typical stuff flat buttons, lantern light parts, and of course the occasional large cent. If you found something similar or have any thoughts let's here them. HH Dutch

    New guy

    I'm new to all of this and only been detecting about 2 seasons. I started out with a whites M6 a year ago and although I found good targets I wasn't happy with its over all performance. I purchased a AT PRO this spring and in about a month's time I sold the whites.
