    dug up a couple neat items today. found an old trigger guard, i believe off a rifle. ( ID help please ) a brass belt buckle. and a few odd iron objects, a large loop, what appears to be a piece of a gear. and a few other pieces.

    Nickle, Clad coat separated from coin.

    Found odd medal. un able to ID.

    I was out metal detecting a few months ago and found this medal nailed to a tree in the woods. the nail was old and rusty with a square or diamond shaped head. i have cleaned it up quite a bit looking for any marks or words, but there are none on it to help ID. i believe it is made of brass...
