    It's been a while

Nice finds. Not finding much if any of those here in MA. I know old lead rings up loud and clear thats for sure. More colonial stuff here. Glad you were able to get out in unfrozen ground. HH

Back to the big park back to back SLQ’s with dates!

Sounds like you are taking your time picking thru the iron infestation , people with less patience or experience will easily get discouraged in that situation. I had to train myself to slow down , listen for subtle tone changes and I also toggle between all metal and whatever program I'm using...

    Coke Bottles

The older cokes are called hobble skirt because of their obvious shape , some have patent dates along the side panel. The bigger clear jug type had coca cola syrup in them , kinda like a concentrate , probably used in the old drug store before soda jerks became popular. The clear straight...

Back to the big park back to back SLQ’s with dates!

Small world , I'm fairly close to the Ct. river in MA. I will be doing some mud larking this summer. I mostly detect old home sites and farmland. At the Cape right now , going to swing some beaches on the bay side with my wife. Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. I will probably try...

Mineralized beach sand made my equinox go into overload!!

I use my equinox on the beaches of Cape Cod haven't had any overload issues. Did your machine work afterwards. I have had coils go bad and they would overload. Not on the equinox , but on two other machines I owned. I usually bring the Safari as a back up, just in case something happens. I...

Here I Am Lying In A Hospital Bed......

Praying for a smooth and speedy recovery. I have family members who've had gall bladders removed . Perfectly normal lives. Just have to be careful what you eat. I believe greasy foods tend to go right thru you.. In spite of your circumstances "Happy New Year"

    Prayers needed for Elmy

Prayers for Elmy as Im writing.. My mother just spent 34 days in the hospital with Covid pneumonia. Talk about lots of prayers.. It was only by the grace of God that she is still with us. You can do this Elmy , One man in God is a majority how much more with a bunch of prayer warriors.

    rechargeable power pack

I agree , as it has been part of my arsenal for the better part of a year now. It attaches right to the shaft under the arm rest. it has also charged my cell phone and another RnB battery pack for the AT Max. Absolutely a worth while investment.

    Broken ears on stock coil

I doubt you will ever break the ears on the 6 " coil unless you are whacking trees with it. I have had my Equinox for a few years now with the stock coil and have not had issues. That being said I'm sure the stiffener will help , but realistically I think it would be more beneficial on a...

    Broken ears on stock coil

Unfortunately it seems like the after market coil ear stiffener may be a worthwhile purchase.
