    Try getting a new disk from minelab, and see if that doesn't work, without a format. Try a format on a pc from 2012-2014. Clean install of windows. Delete all the bloatware. I hesitate to say this, but don't install any anti virus. Try installing the software then. I had some problems...

    this is unlikely. i emailed them and got to the top. they are not making a successor to the 3030. at the time i was told they had over 80 engineers working hard. and since then the manticore released. that is your 4040...or whatever it is they would call the successor to it.

    Anyone ever try Li-FeS2 batteries for the GT?

    I usually use alkaline AA batteries. I was looking at rechargeable ones, which only come in 1.2 v or 1.65v [diff chem]. This puts rechargeable ones out of the equation for now.     Hit local new england beach today...

    Thought the day was going to be a bust. Not to many signals at all despite the last two storms. Maybe 15 total. First decent find was an old buffalo nickel. Second decent find was a 1954 quarter. Quarter was completely encrusted. Found junk toe ring, not shown. Saw about 5 other hunters...
