    Beat up barber!

Nice finds anyway. Hate seeing silver all banged up. Here's a '02 Barber, likely clipped by a city lawnmower.

I haven't posted in awhile or even metal detected - what is wrong with me?

I hit the beach this morning and got just some clad and pull tabs. The sw version 3 with 4khz isn't available in beach modes (can somebody confirm, please), but I did run 4khz in park 2 up near the sand dunes and got a clad quarter. Seems pretty stable. HH

    SoCal beaches open for detecting?

Hey GS, hope all is well. Glad that you have the opportunity to get back to your old stomping grounds in SoCal. We moved in March from NJ to north Fla, I've been hitting the beaches with the Nox 800 (Safari remains on deck) Nothing great found but the scenery and water are great. I do miss...

    Is it water safe?

We would expect the replacement to be a new unit, but we saw that wasn't the case for Calabash. I have about 25 months left on my warranty and I'm hesitant to hunt the ocean submerged.... but I think I'll do it at some point, just not now... HH

    3RD EQUINOX BITES THE DUST...

Cal, per your excellent videos, sorry to see the continued frustration with Nox leakage and now the control head issue. Wondering if the country of origin and its "quality control" may have played a role in defective units released? Per the original box, my 800 was manufactured in Indonesia, so...
