    Tejon questions from a beginner to an experiencedd

    is it normal to turn tejon on and take 2 min or so to get a steady hum ? i turn machine on and if hum is off get hardly any depth until it levels out , then start getting good hits.why and what does this to the machine?

    First M.D. and i went with the tejon

    This will be my first detector and it will arrive in mail thursday to long island where i live. read manual couple times and some post. i think i have an understanding of ground balance , but all in all i don't know squat.. any advice would be great for a person diving in this hobby with the tejon
