    Yard hunting

    So I've got a Discovery 2000, which I've learned on here is a Lone Star. I've not spent alot of time with it in awhile, so I've been getting reacquainted with it out in the yard. First day, I'm working the sidewalk edge and machine say nickle, I dig a plug and there in the bottom is a nickle...

    Beach hunting tips

    Headed to Daytona Beach for the 4th of July weekend and will take my Discovery 2000(LoneStar) with me. New to the beach hunts, so was wanting any advice I can get. Hunt the wet sand at low tide, the dry sand? Any advice on settings, etc. appreciated.
