    melted metal found

    I find quite a bit of melted metal while detecting. Some of it is lead(pretty soft) , some could be Silver, some Babbitt and what ever else. How do you tell what is what? I was told once that different acids will tell you, as well as gold if needed. But I dint know that for sure. Any...
