    i dug up a plate

    I tried my backyard for the first time and found a piece of a plate. I dont know if my detector picked up the lining on the plate or something near it...what do you think? Its a silver or gold lining...faded away I cant really see

    beginner question about the anatomy of stairs

    I have some cement stairs outside of my house I was hunting near earlier today. I was getting a strong signal near the steps in which there are no visible nails or metal. Does anyone know if people use metal to build stairs (like inside or under the cement)? I dug a little around the steps...
