    It's what I learned from a Utube video. I found his settings remarkably good in the soil I hunt, especially @ 4Khz. YMMV.

    I have them both; Nox 800 and the Legend. Pretty evenly matched IMO. Right now I'm using the Legend more because with the small coil the unit is balanced to my way of detecting and it seems lighter. Haven't gotten the Legend in water though.

    New Legend

    Ron; in the Park I have hunted in for 50 yrs now, yesterday in 4Kh is was picking up so much EMI I had to switch to 10 Kh and it shut the EMI off. I don't know why I was picking up EMI but I suspect it has something to do with a new cell tower erected at the north end of the Park.
