    Rumor has it Cbash is/was a paid company man for at least one brand. As I recall he really turned a thumbs down on the Legend when he was "reviewing" another brand. Plus, anyone who disables comments on the utube videos has no balls.

    I run a Legend and have been very, very happy with it's capabilities. That said, I'm ordering a Deus 2 this Tuesday and will keep and run both until I settle on which one I like the best.

    I think I found out what it is; a LEPIDODENDRON Fossil. Carboniferous, Pennsylvanian Period (307-331 Million Yeas Ago), a bit older than I thought. Usually located around areas of Coal formations and guess what; we have Coal in my area of the state. Gonna try and get it up to the University...

    Could also be a antique blown glass "onion" bottle. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

    MI4; they're a little less expensive than the Carrot. Got mine for $119; it has WAY more depth that the MineLab Pro15 I have used for a year or more. One thing it does though; it falses on the soil after the target has been removed. Just takes a little getting used to.

    The tax tokens, at least in KS were a depression era token in either Aluminum or later in a type of plastic. Love finding them.

    Any more, where I mostly hunt, I run my Legend on 60 tones and listen very carefully for the mellow but repeatable sounds that VDI 40+. It is NO surprise when I dig more than ONE conductive target per hole, as a matter of fact I expect it! Great find Ron.

    4th Silver

    AND, just like that it's back! This old park has given up more Silver this year than at the start of any year in the past. I dug a Barber Dime @ ~ 4" . I love my Legend! 1914 is the date.
