Unexpected results from a silver dollar and a silver half?

It really seems like deus is subtracting some vdi for size. Which i can understand somewhat. But its too much, there has to be a better middle ground. As is 99 is useless - ground issues trigger that, only solid 99s ive had are rocks a mineral in them. I suggest dimes and pennies 86, then a...

    Whoa, that's great.

    Few nickels

Went back again, 50 cents or so nothing great, drat. Wandered across the street toward Lake Nokomis, spent a few hours hunting. So obvious the high vdis have all been plucked. But dang i got 11 more nickels in 2 hours. In clean areas i used reactivety .5, got a nickel at 7 to 8 inches...

    Found Aggie ring returned today.

I hope he gave 20 bucks at least for all that effort

    Short hunt

Sandy soil? Or maybe some interference? Nox will lock on nice to that big silver. Nice coin.

Unexpected results from a silver dollar and a silver half?

Yeah, that should be fixed. Too much is bunched together between 94 and 97. Quarters touch 97, dollar coins hit 97, walker half should be 5 vdi higher, silver dollar should be 10 vdi higher than quarters. I agree, a great machine, but high conductors need more space. Hopefully XP can offer an...

    Few nickels

A few years back i found a shallow barber dime here. Sidewalk area was a nothing but the parkway grass area had the nickels. Have previously a few bucks in change here, and some unfired 40 cal bullets. Thinking of heading over now have some time

    Few nickels

Got out for about 40 minutes at the parkway near me. Noticed some sidewalk was ripped up, found nothin there. However the grassy area coughed up some nice nickels quick. The war was a solid 62, the V a solid 63, Buffalo bouncing in nickel range. Deus 2, general mode, 5 tones, reactivety 2.5...

    TID #

    My 2 Cents

Loving the machine myself. Best audio of the 4 machines ive tried, easy to set up programs, light weight. And who knows what a few future software upgrades might improve. Most nickels ive found using a machine.

    Iron falsing

On target past 5 or 6 inches deep it has not been reliable for me, causing all targets to look like squiggles. Works nice on shallower stuff though.

    Some more beach finds

    Thats a lot of rings

Another day in the park with the deus 2

Got out tonight after work for 90 minute hunt. Trashy park 6 blocks from. Ground hard and kind of sandy, ground balance was coming in at 80 or so on the deus ii. Using my General 5 toner, boosted the reactivity to 2.5 on this hunt. Got some plain coins and the partial Winchester Repeater...

    Iron falsing

Also want to add, so far I have found Deep HC offers up the most pronounced iron false sounds that sound like possible good targets, General has been much better for me at quickly weeding out nails and such. And I have noticed General is very capable on depth.

    Iron falsing

My equinox and ctx do it too. I think the deus ii actually gives the clearest audio indication of iron false. I use general program with 5 tones, highest tone for 88+ vdi and the nickel slot. On the nails, spikes, sections of wire you will notice a distinct sound. And as mentioned iron grunts...

    What about nickles?

    Nice date on that one.

Another day in the park with the deus 2

Been out a few more times over, mostly getting pullrings and beaver tails. Got this old 12 gauge headstamp, umc nitro, site i looked at dated it 1895 to 1900. Also got this Tear Down tab, found 2 of these in 3 years, anybody know what they came on?

Another day in the park with the deus 2

Heavy duty knob, solid cast iron. Looks like a set screw would have been needed to hold it as there are no holes in shaft. I did find a 1914 license plate in the park a few years back, so i was guessing something off of a car

    What about nickles?

Most nickels ive ever found. 5 tones in general saved to custom program. 60 to 65 set to sound sweet. Found nickels that read solid 61 62 63 and 64, and of course some that bounce around. To zap all bottle caps do not use bottle cap reject, but instead use another custom prog: Mono freq 7.5...
