    Fisher coil for F-2 / F-4 5.9 khz coils

The 4" is a concentric coil and it goes on the F2 and F4 apparently. Were there any Teknetics running at 5.9 kHz ?

Got told to leave a spot today!!

Me neither. I thought it would be pretty obvious.

    What would you do?

And let him know I ain't happy !

    What would you do?

Talk about shoddy behavior. When I read stories like this I am bewildered beyond words. You learnt a lesson that day but that property owner sure has a lesson or two to learn as well.

Stuck inside. Nail tests, T2, G2 and Simplex

Interesting showing by the T2 and Simplex here. I honestly thought the G2 would trounce the T2 in separation. I'd like to see a NOX in this test.

‘Bout like ‘at- Patriot pays for itself and most of the Simplex too!!!

Beefy chain and quite an original design as well. Congrats.

    Update

Same thing here. It would be nice to know if something is coming and an approximate time frame. I'm about to pull the trigger on a NOX unless...

    Funniest or Unusual find

My funniest find this year: A bra in the woods. The detector probably picked up the clasp and out comes this beauty. I laughed a lot which is always good. What made me laugh even more is that I found a 1919 large cent, a 1919 silver dime and a silver quarter in the same area. I hung the bra on a...

    G2+/F-19

Congrats relicmeister. You can leave gain at max all the time with that detector. Volume 13 is perfect to hear the iron at a lower volume. If you really get fed up of the sound in heavy iron you can set it at 10 and then the iron is gone.

G2 slams on big silver. Twice. And gets relics out.

Very nice half ! Would have liked to see the ID difference between the half and the quarter with the G2.

F19 tot lot find this morning.

Great find. Lovely design. Is the gold soft and thin soft enough to straighten the band ?
  13. dfmike

Still a bit confused. Which after market coils are compatible with the F19?

Don't wait for an answer from NEL. If you need to get information on their coils, ask a reputable dealer. All DD coils for the F5 should be fully compatible with the F19. Still, I would prefer buying a coil that would specify the 19 kHz machines in their list of compatible machines and that...

NEL Tornado or Detech Ultimate 13???

I had the Tornado for 1 day. Unfortunately it was defective and I had to send it back. I've been using the Ultimate coil for a long time. I find it light for its size and it goes deeper than the stock 7 X 11 on my G2+ and F19. If you search a little, you will get different opinions on here...

    Just bought me a G2+

I have used the MGC 5 X 8 on my G2+ this past summer and I love it. Being solid, it doesn't snag on anything. It's less expensive than anything from NEL, Cors or Mars. I have also acquired the Cors Shrew (NEL Snake) and have used that one only once so far. In heavy trash, that one will be...

    Confronted while detecting

Exactly what I was going to say. Around here, digging church ground would get anybody booted in no time. If there is a cemetery nearby and there probably is, it's even more problematic. I understand that the church ground is what many people dream about detecting but in some places it just can't...

T2 with ultimate 13 vs Superfly in the garden

Mine is beat up and not really black anymore. Some of the color had faded. It took a beating through the years and keeps on tickin' as they say. What I find most difficult with mine is to pinpoint a target. I have to dig huge holes (because I use it in the sand most of the time) and the target...

    Shovel for metal detecting.

I had the Lesche shovel (serrated on one side). It was too short for me + totally useless foot plates which I need to really drive the blade down. I wanted a deeper, wider blade with serrations on both sides so I decided on the Predator Tools Barracuda. I will never need anything else. I hit...

T2 with ultimate 13 vs Superfly in the garden

Thanks for the shootout. It's clear to me (at least from the sounds I could hear) that the Ultimate is deeper. The Superfly looks way better and seems to ground balance with no issue.

    Just bought me a G2+

I don't have a simplex but another detector from Nokta that works well on old coins. I would not trade it for my G2+ alone. The F19/G2+ are great detectors but they have a few limitations that become obvious in certain situations. Just having a number of tone choices is a big plus for the...
