    As I will be in the greater Los Angels area thanksgiving week on business, does anyone know of any good beaches to hunt? how about Redondo or Manhattan beach?

    getting 505 figured out/2hrs finds

    Found out the only short in my new 505 was the improper connection between my fingers and the sens dial. My 60th birthday today so to celebrate I left the hay field early this afternoon and headed into town to the county fair grounds. Thought that the area where they set up the carnival rides...

    different khz

    can anyone tell the advantage/disadvantage of different khz's? most mds use 6.5 or 6.8 but Garrett 250 I was looking at had a 12.5 coil. what gives?

    coil power

    can anyone explain the diference, ie. advantage/disadvantage between a 6.5khz coil, a 6.8khz coil and a 12.5khz coil? most mds use the lower khz coils but Garrett has the bigger khz. why? (tracker 4 rules! ) Ed

    short in 505?

    got the new 505 pro fri afternoon, took it to the sleding hill this afternoon along with the new tracker 4. tracker 4 is still awesome. 505 however was a big dissapointment. cant seem to get it to set in any mode, does fine for a few targets, than falses at the end of the swings , both left and...
