    T-2 UPGRADE 8.? software

    Called Teknetics today about an upgrade posted on this site for the T-2, turns out there is an upgrade for $59.99 for new version 8.0 or something close to that. They said it would make the detector more sensitive. Anybody have any info on this? Thanks Tom

    THINKING ABOUT TRADING T-2 FOR EXPLORER 2

    Any thoughts on this? I mostly hunt coins and jewlery at parks and schools. Would the Explorer 2 do better at these places where deeper silver targets might be? The weight issue will not be a problem. Also i hear Minelab dont work on the early Explorer series. Thanks Tom

    WHITES BULLEYE 2 pinpointer

    Purchased a bullseye pinpointer a few weeks ago, seems the sens of picking up items in the hole and plug is not very good.     Standard T-2 coils. Anybody tested the 11'' standard coil, new 15'' coil and the S.E.F coil, air test difference, weight. To get extra depth is it worth the purchase of one of these other coils. Thanks Tom

    X-TERRA 50 FINDS

    Hunting the local football field Wednesday, setting sens at 20, excepting 9,12 and 30 up. Got a V.D.I of 36 4'' deep, out comes a 1942s Merc. Thusday hunt back at the same field get a 1919 Canada Silver Dime, V.D.I was 36-39 7'' down.

    THURS HUNT SILVER RINGS

    Hunting a local high school with my T-2, settings sens-99, disc-50, tones-3. Mostly coin shooting when i got a non coin V.D.I. I looked down when i moved the coil to see this bag of rings on top of the grass. Only bad thing there all Silver no gold. Also hunting with the 5" coil.
