    1st time going to charge my Legend,need help

    NO. The machine should be OFF when charging. The Battery indicator in the upper left of the screen will be the only thing visible and will be "blinking" bars when charging.

    Apples and Oranges. The Garrett AT Pro/Max, is a single frequency machine. Limited to fresh water and dirt. The Minelab Equinox, is a simultaneous multi-frequency machine that is good everywhere including saltwater and wet saltwater sand. The Technologies are light years apart.
