    Detecting in Fresh Water

    I use the same settings in fresh water that I use on dry land. My defaults are m1, all metal, sensitivity 27, and a custom coil and jewelry program.

    Are you asking about the A, G, and F discrimination patterns? If so, A is all metal mode and no targets are discriminated out. G discriminates out the first couple of low numbers which supposedly eliminates ground noise. F discriminates out all ferrous numbers/targets 1 - 11. Careful with...

    Ground Balance

    I use the auto ground balance method. Why? Habit I guess. Seems to work well on the Legend and on previous detectors I have owned.
