In case you don't already know your "Great Seal" button dates 1910-1923 if it does have a black finish. Clean it a little so I can see the rim style. What is the backmark?

    Walmart coin star silver!

I had an associate at Walmart ask me why I got the money out of the Coin Star. I told her the way I see it, the original owner abandoned it, Coin Star rejected it and it doesn't belong to Walmart any more than a coin laying on the floor. When I told her that I put all the clad coins in a jar...

    Never seen before now

Maybe it is the inner back of the clock that helped hold all the workings together and a decorative cover went over it?

What really helps those who can't get out to hunt

When I was a young one in Hagerstown, Md. back in the early sixties, my friend and I would go to land that had been cleared and pick up bullets. We would take them to the nearest body of water and see how many times we could skip one. We left the buttons because they were too light to skip!

Nice finds. You're just getting out and our season down here is about to wind up. I mainly hunt farm fields and they will be planted in a week or two. But, the one field I hunt is going in peanuts so they will put a deep plow on it and I may get to hunt once or twice before it is planted.

What really helps those who can't get out to hunt

One more but, it isn't coins and it wasn't found by me. My brother Joe found all of these civil war bullets in one hole. 21 .69 caliber and 4 .58 caliber. They came from a camp site near Antietam battlefield. I inherited these when Joe, who was my last remaining brother passed away.

Here is an older find. All these came from the same hole. I found them on a cow path through some woods.

Prayers sent for a full recovery. I was vaxxed, boosted and still infected January of this year. The covid was not serious, just mild cold symptoms, but the long term effect are working on this old man. I have managed to get a few short hunts in but nothing like years prior. Here is the only...
