Made it out today with the nox

Elmy, That's the crux of the situation! You can't let go the "E Trac" can you! You've gotta leave it go...take out the battery...lock it in the cellar...leave it at home... DD

Depth will be even greater soon as they are currently testing 2 New search coils for the "Vista X" Big coil square angular shape 14.1" x 11.8" Small coil square angular shape 7.87" x 6.69" That should stir things up a tad! DD

    Florida Beaches.

And speaking from another who lived "on" the beach for 6yrs (LBK Sarasota/Bradenton) Joe Black "speaks the truth!" "Siesta Key" is [ probably the better ] of the beaches because it attracts tons of college kids for Spring Break and they get kinda stupid on booze etc It's also popular with tons...

    Coins Sinking

...the theory I put forward is as plausible as anyone else's... As to 'coins don't sink?' Supposing I fell into a 6ft pool and drowned at the bottom! Would the Coroner say, "No, he didn't sink!"

You guys using the Vista X

Joe, Great you're using the "X" That is a very clever coil! In my 40+ years of detecting, I had not seen any coil able to do the 'trickery' this Vista X coil/s is/are capable of! Yes, the [ dead centre ] is the "Red X" in the middle. But the 'toe' and 'heel' of the coil/s can also PP pretty...

    Ground balance Sovereign xs

Correctomundo - there isn't any way to alter the Ground Balance on the original Sov XS (the GT can be adjusted a tad but not by much) You can 'fool around' with [ attempting to GB ] by going into All Metal and turn Threshold way up and 'bob the coil up & down' while adjusting the Sensitivity...

    Rutus Alter 71 users

There are quite a few RA71's out there in the USA...folks Imported them on their own... Few Forums out there too and the inevitable ' Face Ache' platforms (UK / Euro based) Its a good machine. I had one on Field Test back in 2017 and it is a 'clever' machine from a small outfit on a shoestring...

    Garrett ADS 7 .

Yeah, that was 'the amazing' thing about Garrett and the ADS 7 and almost all of it's early detectors from the '70's, they were 7.5" and looking back now, were too small for anything but park coin shooting...

    2 SOVEREIGNS?

Hey Rick, Good to hear you! True, lots of folks "swear" the original 8" 'white round coil' was [ the hottest ] and [ had the best ability to discriminate ] between tabs and rings. "Most of my Sovereign usage", was with the black coils. By the time I joined ML they had switched to the "8" &...

    2 SOVEREIGNS?

I 'had' 2 'prototype XS2a's but one got lost in an Office transfer? Also have an old 'prototype' Sov GT housed in a 'Eureka' box and combined with an Excellerator 12" coil (the white one) it's 'deadly' on wet sand! PI depth... Just last week I broke out the "XS2a" and fitted an original "White...

    Question on Sovereign XS

I've got a few 'New' blue doors off the XT Series - PM for details. Where are you located? I just used one recently on an older Sov XS2a as the 'male' tip of the original black plastic cover wasn't [ holding ] the seal. Perfect now. Desi Dunne

First Impressions of the Vista X

Hi kittlitz, Glad to read your initial report. Yes, you're spot on there...the rotary buttons can only be described as 'tight' and not easily moved! Also 100% correct on the exact DISC ability...a teeny weeny move can change things! I've not had any EMI issues whatsoever and it is very well...

Vista X... Three hammered coins in one outing

I'm really liking the "X" and hope to repeat your 'hat trick' of 3 same day!!! Currently working fields that 'can throw up 2 - 3 hammies' in a same day session (the last time it occurred was with a Sov XS2a) Here's a snap of the field..
