    I have long used the Minelab Sovereign,(Had an original in 1994 and 3 since then) and love it. It's easy to set up and use.     meter jumping

    What do meter readings mean?

    While hunting Saturday, I got readings as high as 186 (on a penny) on my Sovereign GT meter. I don't remember doing that in the past, and I set it to a quarter @ 180. So what's up with this?

    Info on joey coil for sovereign

    What is the general consensus on the Joey coil for the Sov? One test that I saw said that it was no better than the stock 8" coil; is that really true? Come on, someone, make me feel better about it...I have enough buyers remorse anyway.
