    Just wondering if there is much difference between the tones, numbers (respectively), etc., with either the Infinium or ATP when it comes to gold and lead? I am finding pieces of lead to practice with much more readily available than similarly sized pieces of gold.

    From what I can gather, the Garrett Propointer uses VLF technology; would this not cause a problem in soil where VLF detectors don't operate well? Although I would be using it with the ATP a lot (like the ATP needs one) I really wanted a PI pointer that could follow my Infinium around, at least...
