    Etrac bootup issues

    If you guys having the problem haven't tried the master reset you may want to write down all your settings and give that a try. I know a guy on the forum that does the master reset every year just to clean it up and prevent problems. Good Luck, Ron in WV

    It is your brain that is discriminating out the gold, the coins are so easy your brain says that don't sound so good so you move on for the next quarter. I don't know the best way to over come that but you may want to run a pass just for coins and then go back over the same area with the on...

    When you said it is threaded on the bottom that was the key. That looks like it is grooved for a O ring, I would say it is off some kind slid rod for sealing something.

    Just air test it on a coin and then do the same with your stock 11" coil the stock coil should be 1.5 to 2" less than the 13". So if they are close to the same you got problems with the 13" coil. Ron in WV

    I forgot say I was using the 12x10sef coil, it seems a little big but I am getting really good target separation as well as good depth. Seems to be a really good all round hunting coil, for sure it will replace the stock 11" coil and it runs really close to the same depth as the ultimate 13"...

    For sure it looks to be old and is a black powder bullet based on the lube groves. I would guess it is a smaller caliber hunting type bullet maybe in the range of a .36cal. Just going from what I can see. For sure it is setting on top of a nice 1987 penny. LOL
