    Got the green light to hunt a house in town today that was built around 1915. '64 rosie popped out first . . . then I found a silver spill of 3 rosies .. '53-D, '49-D, '46-D, 2 mercs .. '37 & '42, a 1940 nickel and a 1927-D wheatie. A few passes later I dug a 1958 Canadian quarter. Then a 1920...

    Hit a small yard just a couple of blocks from my house. Why I have been driving 20 or 30 miles to find spots is beyond me :laugh: Silver '43 half and '43-S quarter were 8 inches apart and 10 inches deep. '41 and '44-D mercs ... I just about died when I saw the rim on the 1964 mexican 5 centavo...

    Our detecting days are numbered up here in God's Country ... around Halloween is usually the kicker for us. Hopefully I will be hunting until Thanksgiving like last year .. wishful thinking though. Had a hell of a day (I am on vacation this week) .. got in about 4 hours or so. Was really trying...

    I dug this saturday at a 100+ year old farm up here. It is a WWI German Veteran Honor Medal. I can only imagine the story behind this medal making it's way to northern Minnesota.     I cannot recall ever finding a 1913 wheat ... but managed to find two in the same yard that day. If I could have just found the key-date '13-S too. Now that would have been something !

    Would like to pose a question for everyone ..

    If you all don't mind .. please tell me why your detector is better than my Minelab Explorer. I am considering a change for various reasons. But the biggest one is too much information, if that is believable. I would love to try a detector where you must rely on sound alone. Or at the very least...
