    discrimination?

    Just got my new lobo last week, and have tried it out twice at a local beach. Works great, but I'm having trouble with discrimination. I brought along a gold ring and a bottle cap to try to set the disc, but the gold ring gets tuned out before the cap as I turn up the disc, so I've been digging...

    lobo st or minelab?

    I'm new here, and new to detecting, but I'm about to buy my first modern detector. I had my mind made up on the lobo st, but have recently read about minelab's ability to detect nuggets up to three time the depth. Any truth to this, or is it hype? My detecting will be split roughly half nugget...
