    MXT vs Garrett 2500

    I recently called a dealer about the Garrett 2500, as I thought I might be interested in buying one, my first. They immediately tried to switch me to the MXT, saying it was cheaper and did more. Since I have no experience with either one, is this true? I know the price difference, but nothing...
