    Fisher 1270 vs C$

    Has anybody had occasion to try the 1270 and the Coinstrike side by side? I would be interested to hear what other people think. The 1270 appears to be more sensitive than the Coinstrike, but it's amazing how the C$ just seems to pull stuff out of the ground. Depth wise, they both seem similar.

    Have just recently got hold of a 1270. Previously had a Coinstrike, CZ3D and 1236X2. I am very pleased with the 1270, especially the iron discrim - similar to the Coinstrike in that regard - does it affect depth on the 1270? It was not supposed to on the Coinstrike.     Fisher CZ-3D + multi frequency

    I have just got hold of a CZ-3D as a partner machine to my Quattro. Can somebody explain to me the reason for the multi-frequency transmit on this detector. Since it then receives signals on 5 and 15kHz, what is the point of transmitting other frequencies that it doesn't analyze the data from?
