    Well life rolls on

Old Post, but maybe I'm the only guy (or gal) in his 30s that still looking best my tesoros. I have "fancy" detectors too, but something about the tesoros. Fell in love with my 8" compadre and as they say the rest is history.

    I Have A Tesoro ?

If you mean the upper rod where the arm cuff mounts to it's *aluminum*. Both upper and middle rods are *aluminum* **Edit: aluminum. Thanks Sven*

Name a Tesoro that you have never owned/tried, but would like to......

Well I pulled the trigger So I guess I change my answer to Cortes. Similar I'm told to DeLeon with more abilities. :)

    Tejon owners, some input please

Hmm. Maybe mines just worn. Looks like the o-ring causes the friction between the inner stem and outer stem. From what I understand the pot works with a gear reduction. The o-ring, through friction, lets the inner stem move the outer stem (or vice versa). Or something like that. Mine is very...

    Tejon owners, some input please

O-ring is there I think. Your knob is pushed down the pot shaft into it. Lol you'd have to loosen the two set screws and take off the knob I think to see it. Is your pot really easy to turn? In the usable area I mean not at the ends where there's resistance.

    Tejon owners, some input please

Does yours have the knob sitting further out than the others and does the GB pot stem have that recess and an o-ring? And thank you for the reply!!! Yes it's definitely more sparky than any of my other detectors lol

    Tejon owners, some input please

I attempted to try the knob without the o-ring, but it doesn't move the pot without the o-ring it seems. My other machines don't have that recess in the pot stem for the o-ring or the o-ring. New to me I guess.

    Tejon owners, some input please

Well, as best as I can tell inside and at 3am the knob does work. It was tough finding an area of floor in my place that didn't sound off. My other detectors it was easier. This thing is picking up all wires and fixtures and everything but I did find a spot with nothing and was able to...

    Tejon owners, some input please

So I got my new to me black Tejon in the mail. I'm still at work so I haven't played with it yet. My question is about the GB pot. It has lateral play in it. Not turning play, but up down side to side play, almost like it's loose (think turning on it off a light switch rather than rotating it.)...

    Deleon dig numbers?

I usually use the "probability graphs" as I call them. The DeLeon may need 4 it more swings over the Target to dial in what it is. I know silver always shows up as 95 and most quarters do too. But I use the graph more than the numbers. If you need to know get your hands on different years...

I'm late to the 7" concentric party

But better late than never!!! Just ordered the 7" round concentric for my racer 2 yeasterday and should ship Monday from a local Michigan dealer. Had a nice coupon for fleabay and was able to use it for the coil. Funny thing though.... I asked a couple dealers about this coil before and they...

What's included with the makro kruzer?

How many of the accessories come with it? Usually Kellyco and other dealers show a picture of what comes with it but they don't for this model. I heard the battery pack is a separate accessory, but what about the USB cable, headphone adapter for 1/4" headphones, etc.? Just the stock coil...

A request for owners of both the fors relic and impact

Hey all!! I was wondering if anyone who owns both the fors relic and the impact could test something for me. First, I know the relic is intended for relic hunting but I use it for all hunting. I have seen tests and have also run some myself between the my relic and racer 2 and the relic is...

Makro kruzer/multi kruzer battery wiring question

Ok so I figured I'd start my own thread on this. Here's the question.... Whether by cycles, damage, or just wearing out in any way... If the internal battery in the kruzer is no longer functioning (not just needing a recharge) will the machine still be able to function with the AA battery pod...

Best solution for detector storage I've found so far!!

Used the idea from a guy on YouTube. Went perfectly. Edit 1/22/20 I've since added a second Mojave and black Tejon to the collection but wanted to upload the picture again since all pics were lost changing to the new site.
