So if one coil allows you to run quieter at higher sensitivity verses another coil.....

which coil will be the deepest if both are similar in size? For instance the SEF 12x10 runs quieter than the 11" Pro coil at upper sensitivity levels.I have my own theories and test results for my soil conditions and was wondering about others with actual infield experiences,Thanks.:detecting:

Hunted about 4 hours at my local fresh water beach and all I can say is this thing is extremely hot on tiny targets. My AT will false just like the ones posted when I twist it side to side but is as quiet and stable as any machine I have ran on the fresh water beaches.Pro mode all metal with iron...

Lower your GB on AT Pro for more depth on silver....

I discovered I could gain an inch of in dround depth by lowering the GB from the auto 79 to around the 60 mark in my test garden on silver dime. Also dicovered that doing so will loose a bit of depth in pin point mode.Just something to play with and found it worked best in normal rather than pro...

How come we never have any tricks posted telling how to overcome those pesky steel bottle caps....

I have to laugh and resist the urge to post "get an E-Trac" every time I read a thread on the other brands forums giving tricks and tips on IDing steel caps. And most blame the DD coils for all their machines failures rather than the discriminating ability or lack there of .Nothing like...

I have a test for you guys to try with your E-Trac....

Air test your machine on various coins for max distance/depth in say a maxed out but stable indoors coins mode and say open quick mask with just iron disc-ed out.The main thing I found interesting is the results while testing in each noise cancel channel:yikes: Depending on the types of...
