Listener, I live on the other side of the valley from you and can tell ya, the hack jobs some of these folks do in the grass in our area is gonna lead to nothing but no detecting rules.

    Help with a button?

You're right. There were so many manufacturers besides Scovill/Hortsman and the like. Many were European and supplied both sides of the CW. I'm warming up to the idea mine is legit.

    Help with a button?

Found the front of this two piece button in an area old enough for seated coins in Utah. Something seems "off" about it, making me think it's civilian. I'd welcome any information. Thanks!

Deep Big Silver / Coin Silver Pocket Watch Cover / 1934 Chauffeur License Badge

Looks like a seamless transition to the D2 for you Dave! (I personally think you'd find deep silver with a 1970's Radio Shack detector with your skills). Finding marked "Coin" silver is pretty darn cool. Congrats!

    Yesterday's Beat Up Park Finds

Hi Cap'n! Maybe it's just me but I'm not recalling seeing your posts in awhile. I'll never forget being a new guy and meeting up with you at "L" Park when the Xterra 70 was released. It's good to see you're still getting what I know are DEEP targets.

    Technically I found a $15,000 gold wedding ring, technically…….

That's a terrific story. Good thing you and your common sense were around for those folks. Hopefully the Karma puts something good under your coil.

Barber Quarter, Dimes and Pool Hall Token

Fantastic recoveries Dave! Love the oblong token, curious if the signal jumped a little due to the shape? That barber is pretty sharp too!
