Hey Bill or Tony, I have noticed with my second Coinstrike..........

that in a couple of spots that I hunt the display will start going nuts, numbers changing rapidly and being very unstable. I notice this in my back yard quite a bit, there are electric lines running by the yard. I'm assuming this is RF interference, but my first C$ didn't seem to have a problem...

Anyone using a Sunray Inline probe on their Quattro's? if so...........

hows it workin for you & does it add much more weight to the detector?

Well, I'm starting to like that flute music, I took the Quattro out for her maiden voyage this afternoon........

only had about 30 minutes to kill so I hit a local park that has been hunted to death. First target was a 1919 Wheat penny at 8" second target was a gold earing at 2" then the rest were 3 dimes 2 nickels and a few more clad pennies, then it got to dark to see so I called it a day.

Well, the Quattro arrived today and my first question is, what the HELL is with this flute music..........

that this thing makes? It reminds me of a High school band practice. Anyway to change the tones or are you pretty much stuck with the Flute music? I guess it could be worse, it could have been a trumpet.

Not much luck today other then a bunch of battery money and a .............

what appears to be a piece of a key chain. From a credit card protection company, I wonder if they are still in operation.

OK, Folks, who all is buyin or planning to buy one of those new FY-1 inline probes, lets see a show of hands...............

these were taken right after the rain stopped. I wanted to see how the camera would do.

Took the CZ70 out for a spin this afternoon, temp was 70, clear blue sky...........

with about a 10 mph wind a blowin. Sweeeeeeet even for Florida standards. Didn't find a whole lot, mainly battery money, but did stumble upon a 1946 wheat & the first gold Sacajawia dollar minted in 2000 that I ever saw. Its not real gold, I guess its made of brass or something like that.

I have a question for all the snowed in northerners................

I'm curious coming from an area that has no snow, which allows me to hunt year around, The question is, why do you buy a new detector during this time of year, especially new released detectors this time of year when you can't do anything with them but airtests and then sit them in the corner...
  15. M

Say, any of you folk that bought the new Edge been out with it yet............

to give us some info on it, if your snowed in for the winter, just send that puppy to me and walk it around the block a few times, break it in and send it back to you ready to hunt.
