    I would have to say yes. It would glare off of the clear plastic. This material is to stiff to lay down on the raised buttons. It was lifting up soon as I put it on. I know the tape I used will keep this on no matter what barring I don't leave my detector sit in the hot sun in a vehicle...

    Yes I did, I have a lot of coils. You need another? This one is a good one. Years ago I bought a new one from the big K and had to send it back. It would only air test a dime to 7 inches. I have had several since with no problems.
