Any way to hunt in1 frequency and pinpoint in 3

I tried to see if it was possible from the configuration but I think it is not.

Can you help me identify this?

It looks like a button at the back side of it writes the word TAWO and on front it is a lion standing and roaring. English army early 20th century used to have similar buttons on their coats, but any idea would be appreciated. Forgive me for the quality of the pictures I need to get a camera.

    V3i 12" DD coil

That is right Bill, I was wondering if anybody tried this coil and if we could have some feed back. I have seen the nel tornado for other brands and was impressive and how this could be on v3i will be interesting I thought.

    v3i in iron ore soil..?

V3i its great with iron once your Ground balanced. I think you will like the way the detector reacts with its discrimination. Running 3 frequencies together it is a great option. I have the V3i for a year or so now and I always prefer it when I am going for hunting. Hope this helps you.

    Another filter question...........

I noticed that 10 band is more sensitive to small surface targets than the high filters. But high filters are more sensitive to silver. Hope this helps

    White's Staff the best

That is nice Garry enjoying your detector after all. But for air testing and overload I think that any coil could overload with tx boost on but depends. I think the test it is 15 gain with txboost off , no overload good coil.

    Its nice learning V3i

Last four days going hunting with a friend using my V3i from 9 o clock in the morning until 5 afternoon was really enjoyable. I am using a program basing on ''ding and dig'' preset. With some changes on filters, tones, ground off settings, sensitivity etc I gained the detector I needed to find...

    Vx3 and TTF question?

On v3i you can set the tones from -95 to 0 at a low tone and from +1 to +95 a high tone or whatever you want for every vdi I thought vx3 was the same. I think you should check your instruction manual. I hope you could get the help you need. I have mine when searching for coins a bit the way you...

question: Relic Mode on Salt Beach ?

I ran the coin and jewllerey program at a black sand beach with tx boost on and salt compensate and it is a coin killer. The salt compensate looses a bit of sensitivity at the midrange of the vdis scale. That means could hit gold at a higher number pretty good. This is how I understood this. I...

Wandering with the V3i & SEF in the woods - pays off...

Seems like sef hits the silver better, nice findings I wish I could get the sef soon.

10.5 mf coil broken screwing edge

Do you have any ideas how to repair that edge of the coil, I just snapped it while I was trying to dig a target and the only thing I could think to do was to use a 'super glue' to stick it, thing I did. Looks hard enough but will it stay or would it cause any other problem cause I have heard...

    For UK users

Thanks a lot for your reports guys I found out that RD short works perfect for me and double blip seems to help a lot even to the tiny targets.

    For UK users

This threat is for the reason I have seen some programs made for UK uses a short recovery delay and I would like ask why should someone consider to use that short RD and what the effect will be if the target is very small like the hammer coins we have in Europe? Thanks in advance for replying.

High mineralization and WOT 15'' 3khz

I own a 15'' WOT 3khz but I think I have a problem on how and if is possible to make it work in my soils with such a high mineralization which reads 6 to Ground Balance. Is it going to be beneficial using a negative GB offset or a positive for succeeding to make it look through the ground? I...

    Things are really slow

Heat waves are common in Cyprus but I still dig in the midday even with 104f under shadow. I just keep my hat on and my digging tool sharp on a such ground of soil became like marble it is keeping in shape as well. You need to wear gloves though cause my hunt still aches. No thunderstorms here...

    Hunting in sand

I think you have to use salt compensate. I tried to use the beach preset in several occasions but it was falsing a lot. I use the coin and jewelery preset with salt compensate and tx boost on. It's a coin killer and not only. Bottle cups are giving vdis from 70s to 80s even higher but then they...
