    Staying with the T2+

A friend of mine just bought a Mindlab Eqinox 600, he brought it over for me to check out and I wasn't impressed. I'm sure it's a good machine but he said it didn't even come with a manual so he had no clue how to operate it. I think he was hoping I could help him out with it but I was no help...

    T2+ vs Equinox 800

Nauti, I agree with you. The T2+ has done me right for years now. I fell victim to the Equinox hype. I'm sticking with the T2.

Relic hunt turned into and arrowhead hunt

Went out for a while last Saturday, found a few Civil War relics then I saw this broken arrowhead base and the search was on for Indian artifacts for the next 2 hours with no luck, just a few flakes.

    T2+ vs Equinox 800

I'm mainly a relic hunter and have been doing it off and on for the last thirty years, for the last 3 years I've been hunting with the T2+and have done very well with this machine on Civil War and Colonial relics . I'm thinking of upgrading to the Equinox 800 but I really haven't seen any...

You tube is a bad influence!

I'm getting sucked into buying a new machine by youtube. I've been looking at videos of people relic hunting with the Mindlab Equinox 800 and the Deus and its making me doubt the T2+, but after watching these videos again and again I'm starting to feel confident in the T2+ again. All the targets...

Any former Teknetics T-2 users here?

Does anyone on this forum use the Equinox 800 for relic hunting? Next question, has anyone ever used a Teknetics T2+ and switched over to the Eqinox? I'm looking for a comparison between the two machines.

Why it’s hard for me to give up the T2

I was thinking I might be missing out on an important feature. I should try hunting in all metal mode more often but I like the different tones in the discrimination mode.

Why it’s hard for me to give up the T2

So what is your current first choice?

Why it’s hard for me to give up the T2

One thing about it 2 Much you never find it all, I've gone back to places I've hunted time and time again and I can always find something. The finds dwindle down but there's still stuff there you just have to run your coil over it.

Why it’s hard for me to give up the T2

I have the T2+, I can't use boost when I'm in All Metal Mode. BP can only be used when I'm in the Discrimination Mode, please correct me if I'm wrong here and tell me how to set my machine up for this.

Why it’s hard for me to give up the T2

I am assuming you are not a relic hunter. Im thinking about getting a Equinox 800 but I don't know if it's worth it. What kind of depth do you get out of the Nox on a silver quarter?

Slim pickens with the T2+ today

Me and my son hit a spot this morning for about 2 hours. There are colonial relics there but they are deep and the place is full of iron, tough hunting. I'm going back and slow down and see what I can pull out of there.

Why it’s hard for me to give up the T2

The T2 is a great machine in my opinion with lots of settings and modes so you can customize your hunt, kinda like having two machines in one with discrimination and all metal modes. The T2+ is my go to machine now, my Garrett ATPRO is collecting dust! I have also thought about upgrading to a...

    T2+ ground balance issues

My machine is acting up, it doesn't want to ground balance automatically. I push the toggle switch forward and pump the coil and the machine just reads 90 (factory setting). It will eventually ground balance after about a minute and I can also manually ground balance it. Just wondering if any of...

    Brown Bess Rifle

It was very exciting!!! The first piece I dug was the base pipe for the ramrod. I knew it was a rifle part so I kept swinging. I then dug the butt plate and knew I was on a rifle. I dug the complete hammer plate assembly with the flint still in it next, then came the trigger assembly. I digging...

    Brown Bess Rifle

I recently dug a Brown Bess Rifle. I'm dong electrolysis on the steel parts now but I'm looking for suggestions of what type of coating to put on it after the cleaning process to prevent future rust and preserve the steel.
