Reg MXT & the Deptmaaster plus

The Depthmaster plus works great with the mxt, anyone for more audio sound on targets? Try to find one of these units I would estimate a 20% boost in target sound. One can run a lower smoother gain and increase Target sound. I got the unit to run the mxt a little less chatty, really clears...

Thanks for the input, yes ,I just want to keep the sounds simple low for iron, one higher for non iron. If there are two targets, one iron (nail) and the other a dime on top of each other (not touching) Will you get a mixed sound with just a two tone set up?

whats the best timings for silver coins at the beach?

Have used the gpx 5k at the salt water beach a few times. Would like to know if there is a typical set up for silver coins at 6-14in or deep small gold rings at greater depth. spectra v3i vs minelab

Whites service is great, I also have plenty of ML detectors and dread having to send one in for repair if needed. There is more piece of mind purchasing a Whites, knowing that you will have your machine serviced in a timley manner, and parts can be found to fix an older model.

A ghost in my V3i?. Why why this happens?

Could be sun spot activity, large solar flares can wreak havoc on these machines at times . I too have found the V-3 and other metal detectors may not always work correctly when solar activity hits our planet The most sensitive metal detector is the Falcon MD 20, this machine is so...

    V3i for Prospecting?

I have used the MXT and v-3 for prospecting, the MXT is much easier to set up and handles the hot ground very good, the v-3 can be set up for hot ground to, but it will take some time to tweak the settings to work well. The MXT has the V-sat like the GMT detector so it will adjust faster than...
