    sometimes you can get lucky on garbage night and find someone getting rid of a worn out shovel that still has a good handle on it.. I prefer the D handle ,couldn’t live without it..

    kinda hard to pin point age.. the few I’ve found that old are kinda like flat with a pattern stamped into it or flat with engraving.. that one appears to be cast however Im not sure whether or not they would have made them that way that far back..

    nice haul…obviously left by the coin ferry…. I’ve had a very similar experience on a beach one time which I still refer to as “foreign coin beach”..

    You borrowed an 800 ? You got me scratching my head on that one lol.. very sweet find Richard…I have found several half Reales through the years..they are about the size of a dime but quite a bit thinner…. The one reale is about as round as a nickel… very nice find….

    you are just like me..you only zing the best coin lol..nice finds.. a very thick patch of nails in a small concentrated could indicate where a house or barn may have burned down..

    Advice on used Equinox

    if hunting for gold objects especially in the water I would go for the 800 just to have the added higher frequency..I find it can make the difference between finding small gold or no gold…I’ve used mine many times on land and water,no issues yet.. I also have the minelab water proof headphones...
