    My greatest coin spill ever

The spill was in a large park on the edge of grass and woods. It is at the top of a large hill where sledding took place up to 1950. It was called Suicide Hill because it was so dangerous. I'm thinking the 1976 coin doesn't belong. It was just there.

    My greatest coin spill ever

Others have asked me this. The newest was 1976 and the oldest was 1959. There was a Canadian penny dated 1951.

    My greatest coin spill ever

Saturday I found this absolutely beautiful silver half. But on Sunday only a short distance away I came upon a massive coin spill. I was using a nox 800 and it was jumping all over the place. I thought it was can slaw but I dug it anyway. The hole produced 26 memorials, 23 Wheaties, 2...

"Ringing" in the first of May

Yeah, they are hard to find. I hunt with lots of people all with 20 or more years experience and as far as I know, none of them have found a CC coin.

"Ringing" in the first of May

Yesterday I and some friends were detecting a very old park. There were 3 flour Mills there dating back to 1850. I found a bell dating to Sept 8, 1863. Likely a bell to one of the flour Mills. The bell is almost 5 inches in diameter. I also found two dimes, 1907 and 1876. The 1876 has a CC mint...

Great app for finding property owners

This is an Android app. Works on my smart phone. Go to the Android Play Store and download an app called Landgrid. This is a free version. Once you install the app and open it a map will appear. Touch a house on the map and it tells you the owner and address. Touch a field and it tells you who...

    Massive gold ring

Well, I received the nox 800 this past Saturday. Put it together did the update and took it for a walk in a park early Sunday afternoon. Within 10 minutes of turning it on, I dug this massive gold ring. 10k 25.3 grams. The net says it's worth about 600 dollars. UNBELIEVABLE, my first find has...
