    Got somewhat hassled this morning.

No, one moved to Fl and another to S C. The 3rd, Chris, and I hunted together almost daily up until about 3 years ago now when he passed and he now hunts in the great beyond. Yeah, curb strips can still be good, and I don't find them any trashier then a park environment. Maybe less, even. HH jim tn

    Got somewhat hassled this morning.

Four of us that all belonged to a detecting club retired about the same time. One was a Policeman, another had been a Deputy Sheriff for a good number of years prior and two of us just regular joe's. We all decided to hunt together whenever we could and about twice a week we all were able to...

    Got somewhat hassled this morning.

I hunt probably 345 days a year and have for 18 years after retiring. I can count on one hand the few similar encounters I've had so consider it just part of the game. Its the unjustified ones that tic me off, though. HH jim tn

    Got somewhat hassled this morning.

I think it was the person that was setting in the SUV that I spotted as the only car in the lot as I drove in. Someone called the custodian and no reason to do so if already in the building with him??? HH jim tn

You tube is a bad influence!

Nox 600 for 3 or so years and early this year went to the Nox 900. Best on target separation of any previous detector I had and probably the deepest (both). HH jim n

    Got somewhat hassled this morning.

Thanks, but my day not ruined. It was 93 actual degrees. Hell, maybe I got saved from a heat stroke. I just hope that the custodian did tell the person what I asked him to and maybe next time they'll keep their nose where it belongs. Otherwise I'll claim I'm being stalked. HH jim tn

    Got somewhat hassled this morning.

A few here are fenced, too. Those are in really bad area's. The few I do hunt, I pick my times such as Sun and holidays. First time today ever being hassled on one. HH jim tn

    F series

I loved the Omega 8000 with its 10" concentric. My 5" coil finally gave up the ghost and died, but still have the stock and 5x10 coils for the 75. Like the 5x10, too. HH jim tn

    Got somewhat hassled this morning.

As is my practice on Sunday mornings after spouse and self go to early Church and make a donut stop after, I go to one of three old city schools for a couple hours of detecting. With city schools starting tomorrow I had already decided if several cars were around the school I selected I would...

    Something to Ponder upon

And its not only the Legend that can identify with what you state oldkoot. I have a Nox 900 and many with this detector state how emi affects it, is chattery and bouncing around I d's, and so on. I'm experiencing little or none of this, nor is my hunting buddy, in fact, with his, but others are...

    Hot! Hot! Hot!

Hi jmaryt, doing great, after 10 years wore my 1st one out and a couple of years now into my 2nd. Yeah, on the F 75....now though, the Nox 900 and its 6" coil is pretty good. That hockey puck really was a killer, though. You still swinging? HH jim tn

    Memorial Day...

Hey Bud, good to see a post from you. Hate to hear what you are going through. Good luck and ten minutes of swinging here and there is better than none. HH jim tn

    Why no Manticore forum?

Don't think one is made yet for it. HH jim tn

    Why no Manticore forum?

I think Colltec makes a 5x10 for the Nox. You looking for one for Nox or Manticore? HH jim tn

    Why no Manticore forum?

Smaller then the 6"? That's a pretty deadly coil in heavy trash. HH jim tn

    Why no Manticore forum?

Besides the sponsor bit, I don't believe a ton of them have actually been shipped into the US. More, though, do seem to be showing up as of lately. HH jim tn
