Yes, older Fishers & Whites too.

Has Nokta abandoned concentric coils ?

My Versa is being shipped. Should arrive by 10/06. Dilek is aware of the requests for Concentric coils for the Legend.

Has Nokta abandoned concentric coils ?

Concentric coils are rare offerings even for single frequency detectors in the recent past. I have them for my AT Max, Anfibio & Vista X plus some older machines. I like them in a lot of situations. I would gladly buy one for the Legend & Versa if they become available.

Has Nokta abandoned concentric coils ?

There seems to be some difficulty with Concentric coils being compatible with SMF. No manufacturer seems to offer them.

    Post Civil War Eagle button

Central East Texas, Anderson County. We saw much less Federal activity here. Only during "Reconstruction". Hill country/Central Texas saw a good bit of Indian fighting activity against the Commanche.

    Post Civil War Eagle button

I took off work a little early this past Tuesday & re hunted the same area with the 6" Detech coil on the MXT. About 20 feet away from where I dug the first button I found a second one. This one is not in quite as good a condition but still cleaned up nice. It has a different Back Mark...

    Colt percussion revolver combination tool

I am finding the MXT in relic mode with Disc set just below 2 does very well sorting thru the Iron if you really listen. It has made me realize that my Legend, even with the Iron Filter set very low, can be too quiet in how it deals with small iron. Each of my units have their own personality...

    Colt percussion revolver combination tool

I almost did not dig this but it had just enough extra in the tone to not be another cut nail. The site is where a pre War house stood on the old main road near a Republics of Texas blockhouse location. Troops are documented to have camped at the old Stockade on their way East.

Poor performance when the battery is low

I have not but I try to connect the Aux battery when the unit hits 1 bar of battery.

    Post Civil War Eagle button

Thanks for all the replies. I wonder how hard those dates really are. I just can’t imagine that button being lost here after 1872.

    Post Civil War Eagle button

This general service Eagle coat button was found on one of my relic sites this past week. The only references I have show a date range of 1875-1920 for the back mark, "Steele & Johnson Mfco. Does anyone else have references that indicate a date prior to 1875? My thought is that this is indeed...

If you close your eyes and hold your breath they won’t sting you.😉

    Highly mineralized soil

Lower frequencies normally will punch through mineralized soil better But the Deep Tech units are some of the best VLF performers in mineralized soils. My Vista X is only surpassed by my Tarsacci.

    Depth Question

Compare the LG30 with the LG28. They should be close to the same, the LG28 with a slight edge.

    Factory battery pack

That's good to know if necessary. New ones are still available at Centerville Electronics & online.

New Beep n Dig YouTube Channel

I especially appreciate that you show & let the viewer hear, the detector's response to the targets & also while generally searching. That is where the education is. I would also point out that relic hunting is done primarily on Private land not in a public park. Leaving big iron in the hole or...
