Has Nokta abandoned concentric coils ?

Sorry oldkoot, I just now saw your post. Since it is now 8 months later you probably have your answer from other posts/forums. I received mine from the UK distributor Detectnicks. Rutus has since halted shipment to the USA due to Minelab's threat of lawsuit. It's a shame. I think they are...

RYTUS VERSA LASTEST UPDATE 4.7 TESTED

Liam, Glad you have the Versa. It is a fantastic machine with NC 3.7. Very capable. It shines especially in iron trash and/or mineralized ground. I look forward to the new update. You have a good start on the unit but there is much more there to learn.

    Test beds

The small auger sounds like the ideal way to place targets as it disturbs less ground.

Inclination is this might be part of an old clock/watch?

Yes, I would say that is the case body for a wind up Alarm Clock. The crescent cut out is for the Regulation lever Fast---Slow

    Questions about BEAST Mode

@SergeiNY I encourage you to continue your testing and look forward to reading your article on the Legend. As for your comment on my dt video, I read it and answered it. My "air test" set up is not intended to show a detector's capabilities. It is to show a detector's behavior and that of...

    Questions about BEAST Mode

@SergeiNY I don't have any fringe depth nails or small iron in my test garden. I have nails at 4 & 6 inches and big iron at 12 & 18 inches to simulate my typical relic hunting sites. For what I have, the IR setting where the tone begins or completely goes to the lower tone is: 4" 10d nail...

    Questions about BEAST Mode

@SergeiNY I had a chance to run the bE Beast Mode on my mild test bed deeper targets. I see no need to bury any fresh fringe depth targets as I already have several that are 5+ years in the ground. Overall, Beast mode does well giving good audio response but still lacking meaningful TID...

    Warren County Ga. Farm Finds

Those are all very nice. The Broad axe is pretty special & should clean up well for a display piece. You can still buy the correct offset handle for it.

    Questions about BEAST Mode

Attached is the post. I have not done any Air Testing of bE mode. I don't think it is designed to really perform without the Ground response as a counterpoint for the signal processing.

    Questions about BEAST Mode

@SergeiNY I posted a reply to your inquiry on Detector Prospector forum. That forum is set to be rolled back to a prior backed up version tonight to solve some technical issues. I will try to make the same post here later when I have the time.
