In dire need of Canadian assistance

For what it is worth 802-7150 is not the rechargeable battery, just the AA battery holder. You might want to check with Garrett detectors, they bought White's inventory.

dfx and vx3 finding gold jewerly

That is what is so nice about the DFX DC Phase. You turn it on and is always on the screen. If the Phase is within a few numbers of the VDI in the foil range, the chances are much better it will be a good target. If the VDI and Phase are way off from each other, it is almost always junk.

dfx and vx3 finding gold jewerly

To the best of my limited knowledge, the original MXT and maybe the MXT Pro is the closest to the DFX's hybrid analog audio. If I were to concentrate on finding gold jewelry, I would find me a good ole DFX. The audio plus the D.C. Phase readout found me more gold than all other detectors I...

DFX 9.5 coil on a MXT

When the "pancake" style goes out of null, it is not repairable but the X-style was repairable, by White's anyway. I don't know what Garrett is doing with repairs on White's equipment, especially coils.

    Open Park?

Welcome to the forum Mark. This is an old post and the only way to make sure is to give the park district a call.

    A new 1st in 37 years hunting

That is a 1921 which happens to be the year my Dad was born. He would have been 99 years old as well. It was only 4 inches deep and a note for the CTX3030 users........... it read as 01-44 on my machine as it does on others, so make sure you you guys and gals have that section accepted. I...

    A new 1st in 37 years hunting

My first U.S. silver dollar. I heard they were out there, but up to now, that was just a rumor to me. o_O It looks like a lawn mower found it before me, otherwise it would have been in very nice condition.

    Old house hunt

Thanks, it would be close. I need to get a better picture to show it off. It is a little better on the obverse than photograde XF-45 but slightly less detail on the reverse. A pretty one for sure no matter how it's graded.
