Ahh, Spring has come. Good start anyway

I had a month &a half on the Tar On the Florida Gulf. Conditions were tough this year but they opened up now and then. Everyone (different machines) had a big challenge picking threw seas of tent pegs. Seemed there were more than pull tabs most times. I can't explain it like it...

Took a new Machine (Tarascci) For its first school yard hunt. This guy can reach down pretty good. Has Three modes of tones to go along with screen Id. Anyway after a sort of a shaky start, we started rolling over this site. Had to work through a couple of dead spots before...

    Simplex or Apex?

So 8 maybe 10 years ago Garrett came out with the AT Pro. Waterproof. Even after all these years, the Pro with the mid size coil is a killer in trash. Target separation is still great. It still is competative for fresh water wading, mud hunting and salt beaches down to the wet. Not...

In the movies someone is always knocking off the Gold troop payroll. I wonder if the soldiers were paid in script? .Causing the lack of coins being found.

    Funniest or Unusual find

Few years ago, on the beach. Would sometimes meet up with another hunter . So one day Frazer said he found a gold ring back there. I said great lets see it. Oh, I turned it in to the hotel I was hunting at. Said their were initials on the inside. !OK Im looking at...

    What would you do?

My uncle was in a MDing club. One day these retirees drove out to this park for permission to hunt. Park had them pay $,50 each for a permit and they had to stop by and hand over 50% of their finds.. Apparently nothing was found. No one stopped.

Dead Man's Beach. And Broken Hearts Pier

There are rumors some fact maybe some fiction. Probably around any stretch of beach around the world. Here are just a few from our local haunts. Fact, few years ago while wading in front of a Resort high rise. About to rap it up because of incoming tide. Got a deep signal...

Recent years some Very good water machines have been discontinued, are their replacements much better ?

Last couple years the most popular detectors on the beaches I've hunted are. Nox 800 & 600's Garrett AT Pro Bounty Hunters Used to see a lot more Xcals, Beach Hunters not so much anymore It happens but not often to see a weekender wading. Unless your local or on a extended stay it's...

    Funniest or Unusual find

Was hunting a old farm house due to be demolished. Few finds in front , worked around to the back. Spotted a rundown orchard. Anyway got a nice sharp signal. Dug up this shoebox size rotten box. Real nice Silver sound. Carefully opened it up. Out slid a pile of Cat bones with a...

Any Warrior users out there, likes and dislikes?

Best thing AMC would be to scroll back through the pages. Pick up on some machines that interest you. Richard of backwoods detectors knows and sells the Deep Tech brand.

Another Small Gold with the Tarsacci

Well, not gold but Silver with a Zirkcon stone. Bottom of a beach entrance. Fell through the scoop couple of times. For not being a Diamond it sure does sparkle. Was using All Metal mode.

    I'm back !!!

I just got a Tarsacci 800 couple weeks ago. Using it in mild salt , wet sand beaches. If you watch all the videos it's fairly easy to learn. I'll say this I've dug some really deep targets, 3 modes of tones to pick from. Going to be hunting it starting in March in mild dirt. Made in the USA...

Recent years some Very good water machines have been discontinued, are their replacements much better ?

Basstrackerman, got my interest on his new machine the Tarascci. Been out couple years, many years in the making. Did all the research I could find. So made in USA, no computer updates, 4 Frec's. I'm no way able to describe the technology, you got to look to the Pros for that. 3Rd...
