Nice Kukri! I have a smaller one somewhere, but I always wanted one like that. Maybe that will be a future project.

Any dealers have the V10X coils for the Xterra Pros yet?????

How many of you have emailed Minelab directly to voice your desires? I remember when us old Xterra users were desperate for more coils, specifically 3kHz coils, and we bombarded Minelab with emails. It didn't really take that long before they authorized Coiltek to develop the 6" 3kHz Digger, as...

Bart @ https://bigboyshobbies.net/ is now showing the V8X coils in stock for $99.

A couple of those ball peins I would consider popping the handles off and forging them into tomahawks.

That anvil looks to be in pretty good shape overall. What does it weigh? Love the large drift! Over the years I could have used one like that. That's quite a collection of hammers, but really only a couple are what I would consider suitable for working hot steel. Balance is important, and the...

I've run it all the time for over ten years.

Think about the crowd that it's reaching. We need 'em! These two guys are both independent artists, and they're kicking the music industry in the nuts with every new release. They just got two #1 Bilboard plaques for their last release, "American Flags". That's YUGE considering that there's no...

Thanks! I might just have to order one. I wouldn't be interested if it weren't for the fact that the clip is reversable. I won't carry a knife with a clip that's at the pivot end. I don't want to have to turn it around in my hand before I open it.

I may have just cracked rhe "mystery" of the Xterra Pro on the beach....

NOBODY is saying that it's that simple! In fact, it's far more complicated than you're thinking....unless you're a world-class physicist and computer programmer. There are far more variables to all-digital metal detectors than just frequency selection, and in fact there are more than most people...

Are the Equinox coils that work with Xterra Pro better then stock coil - do they help stabilize the VDI?

I always hunt with headphones for just that very reason. (y)

There's a big difference between licensed frequencies and actual operational frequencies. Show me scope data that proves that any of those machines are operating over 100kHz.

I really don't care if you don't believe me. Operating frequencies of the 705 are well known to be from 3kHz to 18.75kHz.

I may have just cracked rhe "mystery" of the Xterra Pro on the beach....

The range of frequencies of the old 705 single frequency machine was even wider, though it required coil changes to change frequency. So, the range of frequencies by itself is irrelevant in the world of all digital detectors.

Are the Equinox coils that work with Xterra Pro better then stock coil - do they help stabilize the VDI?

Audio rules.......or at least it did. This new generation of Minelab machines is different than the previous one in terms of audio, and I'm still learning the nuances of the new audio responses.
