    You need to have some guidelines on where to start you settings. If you don't find anything how do you know if you settings are bad or there's just nothing there to find?

    That looks like a baggage tag but with the name of a liquor house and a street address I'm wondering if it might be something else. You need to research it, its a great find whatever it turns out to be.

    That was my point, with only the sound to go by if you're only digging the clean sounding audio you're going to miss some good targets.

    2 I looked for were on a hill first one was at the bottom and really deep, the one at the top was barely under the ground.

    If you're only digging the clean audio signals you're missing a lot of good targets, I've dug at least 3 walking liberty halves that sounded really bad but the meter numbers were in the right range.

    Hills make a difference too, coins at the top of the hill are shallower because the soil washes down the hill.

    If the tone was terrible but i.d. was good, like the 3 Walking Liberty halves I found with the Sovereign would you dig them ?

    So the tone ID says old coin but the number ID is so bad that most hunters won't dig it. I've never experienced that on a VDI machine, all I've experienced is the tone's were real bad but that was with a sovereign.

    Buddy of mine, Keith took his friend Mark detecting. Figured it's a good test for the first upload. I posted the picture directly from my phone.

    Before you could take a quick scan and see which posts were new and which ones I wanted to read and then make all read. Now I have to mark each forum read and that takes 2 clicks each so its going to take a lot longer to view than before.

    Please post anything that will help others on how to get around on new forum.

    Apparently to get the icon to show that all have been read you have to click on the actual post not just read it which would mean that we have to click on each post after we read it, a lot more work than the old system.
